On 28 August 1940, he enlisted in the U.S. Army at Fort Hayes, Ohio. He served with distinction, earning an EAME Theater Ribbon with five Bronze Stars, an American Defense Service Medal, a Good Conduct Ribbon and a Bronze Star Medal. He received an Honorable Discharge on 29 June 1945.
Paul was a skilled mason, and was initiated into the International Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Union, Local 31, in Dec. 1962, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
Later, he retired to Melbourne.
He was an active club member of the VFW and the F.O.Eagles in Melbourne, Fl.
Predeceased by twins Dorothy and Audley, son of Audley and Effie, brother to Leroy. Married to Donna Kramer on March 13, 1993.
Cremated in Sebastian, Florida.
