McCoy, Brian Anthony "B" Age 39, was born February 29, 1972 in Gary, Indiana, to George and Wilma McCoy. He accepted Christ at an early and attended Southlake and South Haven churches. He attended Lew Wallace High School and later received his GED. He worked at US Steel, McCoy's Cart & Welding Service, and Pilate. He was preceded in death by his step-father Kenneth Johnson; sister Kennetta Johnson; grandfather George L. McCoy, Sr.; step-grandfather John D. Johnson, Sr.; and aunt Marietta Graham. Brian leaves to celebrate his legacy: his children Christy, Brain Jr., Jessica, Brianna, Devon, and Jalyne; fiancée Kenya Green; special friend & baby's momma Yvonne Carson; mother Wilma McCoy; father George McCoy; brothers George McCoy, Kenneth Johnson Jr., Tommie Johnson, and Keith (Brandi) McCoy; sisters Shirley Johnson, Shinnetta Velez, Darleana Johnson; a host of step-brothers and step-sisters; special brothers-in-life William Hubbard, Roosevelt (Black), Bobby Young, and Craig Buckingham; nephews, nieces, and a host of other relative and friends. Visitation and Funeral Services will be at Powell & Coleman Funeral Home, 3200 W. 15th Ave., Gary, IN 46404. Visitation: Thursday, April 14, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (family hour 7pm-8pm). Funeral Services: Friday, April 15, 2011, at 12 noon, Interment at Fern Oak Cemetery in Griffith.
