"Newark - Funeral rites were conducted last Saturday afternoon for Henry O. Lepper, 88, who died Thursday, June 11, 1942, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank C. Tack, 130 Martle Avenue. Serves were held at the Tack home with the Rev. Nicholas Titus of the Baptist Church officiating, and burial was made in Newark Cemetery. He was born at Sodus Point, the son of Elizabeth Field and Joshua A. Lepper. Surviving, besides his sister, are four nieces, Mrs. Edward Doane, Newark,; Mrs. Jesse Muir, DeWitt, N.Y.; Mrs. Newton Avery, Mt. Clair, N.J.; Mrs. Jennie Walton, Rochester; and two nephews, Lawrence Tack, Pittsford and William Lepper, Wolcott." (The Newark Courier-Gazette, The Marion Enterprise, June 18, 1942, Page 3)
