Bruce Arthur Casity, born December 5, 1945 in Liberal, Kansas, entered into rest June 16, 2004 in Galt, California at the age of 58. Bruce was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Army. He was a mason and a builder for 34 years. Bruce enjoyed traveling, golfing and getting together with family and friends. Bruce was the son of Alvin and Gladys Casity who both preceded him in death. Bruce is survived by his wife, Winona Casity of Galt; son, Bryan Casity and wife Raquel of Lodi; stepchildren, Rick Casity of Jackson, Tammy Haviland and her husband Justin of Galt, Debbie Boroski of Juneau, Alaska and Steve Boroski of Reno, Nevada; 3 grandchildren, Brooke, Heather and Kristen Casity and 2 step-grandchildren, Tori Boroski and Shana Conners; sister, Janet Woods and her husband, Richard, of Lake Camanche; brothers, Doug Casity of Fresno and Jerry Casity of Stockton. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Friends are invited to attend a chapel service on Monday, June 21st at 1:00 PM at Galt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Keiser of Family Life Christian Center in Galt officiating. There is no visitation and inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 2609 E. Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA 95210-4222.
