Earl R. Windham, 84, died at 3:11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, in his residence.
He was a native of LaSalle and had been a resident of Lake Charles since 1986, coming from Orange, Texas. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Bon Temps Club. He was a graduate of Alexandria Business College, and he had attended Lamar University.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Juneau and Linda Alberts, both of Houston; five grandchildren, Brandie Churan of Nederland, Texas, Chari Fitzgerald of College Station, Texas, Shane Hebert of San Diego and Todd and Kane Windham, both of Orange; five great-grandchildren, Brittany Phillips, Kylie, Koby and Konner Fitzgerald and Lexie Windham; one brother, Perry Windham; two sisters, Jessie Enterkin and Audie Carter; and a very special loved one, Ada McKee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Windham; and a son, Bob Windham.
His graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in Consolata Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Canter will officiate. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. Monday in Hixson Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Christus St. Patrick Hospice for their outstanding work. They are an excellent support group with their patients and the families. Words cannot express their excellence.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Christus St. Patrick Hospice.
