Sadie Anding Luster, 82, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 1 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland. Services are 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with burial in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
She was the daughter of William Isaac and Floy Elizabeth Bowman Anding. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Inell Case and Ella Mae Case; brothers, Undrell and Lee Willard Anding.
A graduate of Lloyd Star High School in Lincoln County and Draughan's Business College in Jackson, she was employed as a bookkeeper by Southwest Drug Store in Jackson for many years prior to moving to Norman, Okla., Newton and in 1987 to Madison. As a child she gave her heart to Christ and until her death was a member of Madison United Methodist Church. Her passion was her family and she enjoyed flower gardening and arranging.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and especially by Mildred White her caregiver.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Roddy Finley Luster; son, Jim and his wife, Brenda of Madison; son, Steve and his wife, Cindy of Orlando, Fla.; daughter, Lynda Fagan of Madison; grandchildren, Randy Luster and his wife, Lynn of Buford, Ga., Michael Luster and his wife, Ashley of Madison, James Luster of Brookhaven, Leigh Ann Luster of Jackson, Alan Fagan of Nashville, Tenn., Brian and his wife, Brooke McCuller of Southaven, Angela, Teresa and Chris Luster or Orlando, Fla.; four great-grandchildren, Miles McCuller, Jillian and Kailey Luster and David Matthews; her sister, Geneva Blackwell of Baton Rouge, La.; and one brother, Hewitt Anding of Brookhaven.
