Reva Mae Downs Keetch passed away Saturday, October 6, from incidences of age. Reva was born March 29, 1917 in Orem, Utah to Florence Judd and William Alfred Downs. She married Ray Keetch December 15, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ray and Reva were married for almost 70 years working together to create a home of love and happiness. She was a caring mother and grandmother, a hard worker, and exquisite homemaker. She served her Father in Heaven faithfully, and taught Gospel Doctrine, was a stake Relief Society counselor; and served in the Primary, Scouts, and Young Women serving wherever and whenever needed. She loved camping and traveling and being with her family.


She is survived by her husband; daughters, Connie (Bill) Johns, and Karen Westover, South Jordan; son, Calvin (Shauna), Saratoga Springs; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Elvin (Helen) Downs, American Fork; brother-in-law, Bud (Bessie) Shelton; and sister-in-law, Mary (Ray) Downs. Preceded in death by daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Randall Martin; and son-in-law, Jon Westover.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 W. 3320 So. Friends and family may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So, Magna, and Wednesday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
