Betty E. Steele, 88, of Wooster, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.

Betty was born October 14, 1932 in New Pittsburg to Roy and Mary {Smith} Raudebaugh.

She married Francis Steele on April 7, 1951. Francis passed on November 2019.

Betty worked with Francis on the farm. They also ran a food truck together at the fair. She also worked as a mail carrier and as a clerk at The Gift Corner. Betty was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Wooster. She also enjoyed traveling with Francis and visiting friends and her great friend Elizabeth "Cookie" McDaniel. Betty was very thoughtful, selfless, smart, caring and strong-willed. She always carried herself like a lady.

Betty will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Amanda (Tomas) Vasquez of TX, Timothy (Nureen) Steele of TX, and Alonzo (Heather) Steele of Lakeville; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 69 years, son Timothy, and grandson Shawn.
