Robert "Bob" Paupst, 78, Mekinock, died Wednesday, July 5, in his home.

Robert Eugene Paupst was born April 17, 1939 in Petersburg, ND the son of Harris and Carrie (Peterson) Paupst. He was raised in Aneta, ND and graduated from Aneta High School in 1957. Robert enlisted in the United States Air Force on October 12, 1961at Minneapolis, MN. He was stationed at Amarillo Air Force Base in Texas, Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged from military service on July 31, 1969 at Travis Air Force Base in California.

Beloved husband of Bertha, devoted father of David, Sheri & Robert J., and loving grandfather of Donovan Finck.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside interment service for Robert at 11:00 am, Saturday the 30th of September 2017 at Inkster Cemetery, Inkster, ND

Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 157, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3817 and Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard.
