On May 26, 2001 in Mishawaka she married Ted Hope. Ted survives along with two daughters, Bethany Hardy and Jenny Wenger, a son, Jonathon Collins, one step son, Eric Brodzinski and one brother, Gary Person.
Carol worked as an antique and collectables dealer.
Burial with private services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
