Fannie Bardwell's mother Mary Elizabeth (1843-____) appears on the U.S. Census for 1865, 1870, and 1875 as the wife of Jonathan Bardwell. Since Mary Elizabeth Bardwell is not on the U.S. Census for 1880, it can be assumed her year of death was just prior to 1880. According to the 1880 U.S. Census, Jonathan Bardwell had remarried. His second wife was a woman whose name was apparently Esther Brown.

Between 1865 and 1880, Fannie Bardwell's name is not on any Census report with her parents, which means she died in infancy between two Census years during that time period.

Siblings of Fannie Bardwell:
Baby Bardwell
Jesse Bardwell 1868-1927
