Lillie was born September 21, 1933 to Harold and Lena Denning Pruett. She was a homemaker and a waitress at South Side Country Club in Decatur for 15 years and retired in 1995. She also worked with Senior Aid for 9 years. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bourbonnais, IL and Past President of the Decatur American Legion
She is survived by her son, Wendell Penny and Jeffrey (Melinda) Penny of Bourbonnais; a daughter Peggy Penny of Duango, CO.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Libby) Pruett of Charleston, IL; sisters, Edith Donath of Springfield, IL and Elberta Pruett of St. Peters, IL.
She is predeeded in death by one daughter, one brother and her parents Carolyn Penny and Paul Pruett.
