Helen M. Drylie, 86, of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, August 14, 2006 at Trinity West. She was born December 8, 1919 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late William L. and Carrie Wolter Hughes. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and charter member of its Friendship Guild Circle, LaBelle Chapter #414 Order of the Eastern Star, Sunset Club, and AARP. Preceding Helen in death were her husband James Robert Drylie on August 5, 2002; two brothers William and Lt. Richard "Pete" Hughes; and two sisters Isabelle Ryder and Evelyn Hughes. Surviving are her son James D. (Sandra) Drylie of Richmond, OH; daughter Carolyn (Vernon) McCamic of Wintersville, OH; three grandchildren Darlene Harrison, David Drylie, and Brian (Patricia) McCamic; and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Thomas Bullard and Rev. Dr. Phillip Makari officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Order of Eastern Star Service 8:45 p.m. Wednesday
