Florence Ditto

June 9, 1918 – January 22, 2007

Florence Ditto, 88, of Cameron, died on January 22, 2007 at Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale. She had lived in Cameron for the past 8 years. Prior to that she lived in Gause. Rev. Jimmie Sanders conducted the funeral service at First Baptist Church in Gause. Interment was in the Gause Cemetery. Pallbearers were Daniel Ditto, Bobby Hooks, Ernest Hooks, Buddy Smith, Chuck Aguilar, Matt Wilson, and Steve Miller.

Mrs. Ditto was born in Burleson County on June 9, 1918 to Johnnie Alton and Rosa Anna Mitchell Smith. She and Truman Edward Ditto, Sr. were married on August 24, 1947 in Angleton, Texas. Her husband, parents and brother, John Albert Smith preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons: Walter Ray Ditto and wife Emily and Truman E. "Butch" Ditto all of Gause; daughter, Lynnda Ann Miller and husband Stephen of LaPorte; grandchildren: Suzanna Aguilar and husband Charles of Houston, Nanci Stevenson and husband William of Pasadena, Ernest Hooks and wife Sue of Pritchard, WV, Bobby Hooks and wife Diane of Remington, VA, Marisa Wilson and husband Matt of Georgetown, Daniel Ditto of Gause, Kristi Bode and husband Buster of Jarrell and Amber Ditto of Waco.
