Hazel Whittle, Oktaha resident, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Muskogee, OK at the age of 81. She was born on Monday, January 30, 1939 to Charlie and Minnie Bennett Gann in Seminole, OK. She drove trucks for a living after school. She drove trucks until she married Robert Whittle on July 13, 1970 in Muskogee, OK. Hazel then became a devoted wife and housewife. She loved to fish and she loved to cook. Hazel loved to go for rides. Late in life, she lost her eyesight, but still loved to do things. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Gann, Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Leroy Whittle, Jim Whittle, and Wayne Whittle. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Robert Whittle; her brothers-in-law, Clarence Whittle and his wife Nadine of Oktaha, Howard Whittle of Arkadelphia, AR, Gene Whittle, Rick Whittle and his wife Donna all of Oktaha. Hazel is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
