Leif "Arne" Logan, a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully with his wife Yukari by his side following a long and courageous fight against Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).
Arne was born in Seattle Washington to Marion & Leif Arne Logan Sr. Raised just north of Seattle, Arne graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering which led him to work for the Boeing Company 40 years, specializing in quality checks for commercial aircraft. His job took him all over the world, including living in Japan, where he met and married Yukari. Eventually returning to Seattle, he continued working for Boeing until retiring and then worked for Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation for several more years.
He is survived by his wife Yukari and son, Taro, who is currently serving in the US Navy and stationed in Spain. He is also survived by his daughter, Stephanie from a previous marriage, sisters Jackie Young, Patty Elwood, Lucy Bergley, and brother Ed Logan.
A memorial service in Arne's honor will be held in the next few months once gatherings are allowed.
