James L. Kohlmeyer, 94, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at The Waters of Princeton. He was born on August 15, 1926 in Gibson County to Roy and Anna (Little) Kohlmeyer.

He had lived in Princeton since 2003, moving from Francisco where he had lived most of his life. After farming for several years, he worked at Potter & Brumfield for 32 years where he was a shipping and receiving supervisor. He was a member of St. Marks UMC in Princeton where he had served as a former Sunday School Superintendent. He was a member of the OddFellows Lodge in Francisco for over 50 years, the first male President of the Francisco PTA and he participated in the Wabash Valley Institute.

James is survived by his sons, Stephen Kohlmeyer (Brenda) of Francisco and James A. Kohlmeyer (Toni D.) of Francisco; 4 grandsons; several great grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Richard Rawls (Judy) of Princeton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Shirley (Rawls) Kohlmeyer; and second wife, Marsha (Maes) Graper Kohlmeyer.

There will be no visitation or service. Interment will be at a later date in Francisco Cemetery. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
