Carrace, age 99, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 20, 2020, surrounded by his loving family at his home.
Carrace was a dedicated employee for 50+ years at Lou Ann Foods where he retired. He served as a usher at St. Landry Catholic Church for many years. Mr. Carrace was also a 1st degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Eugene Hollier (Mary Lou) and Ricky Hollier (Faye); daughters, Emma St. Amand, Peggy Fontenot (Larry), Marie Lanclos (Douglas) and Patricia Meche (Gary); 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Fontenot Hollier; parents, Louis and Clemonce Stelly Hollier; and 9 siblings.
