A. Louise Boys, 55, of 711 N. Main St., Abingdon, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 1996, at her home.
Born May 27, 1940, in Gurnee to Jacob and Dorothy Malik Lawrence, she married Daniel A. Boys Sr. on Jan. 3, 1959, in Morris. He died May 3, 1992.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel Jr. of Abingdon and Mike of Avon; three daughters, Connie Huff, Julie Gerstel and Colleen Boys, all of Abingdon; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Allen Lawrence of Geneseo, Arthur Lawrence of San Diego, David Lawrence of Clovis, N.M., and Calvin Lawrence of Chula Vista, Calif.; and four sisters, Faye Boys and Verna Parker, both of Galesburg, Dorothy Carver of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Shirley Ward of Ormond Beach, Fla.
She last worked as a cook at the Steakhouse in Galesburg. She was an Abingdon resident the past 20 years.
Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.
