Jeannette P. Bolanos, 78 of Ft. Madison passed away at 6:55 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Great River Hospice House.
She was born on May 12, 1942 in Argyle, IA to Leonard and Leah Lamb Brown. Jeannette worked clerical positions for various places. She was a member of Victory Faith Church and Daughters of the American Revolution Jean Espy Chapter where she served as secretary for several years. She was also a former member of the Chamber of Commerce. Jeannette enjoyed reading, embroidering and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include one son, Ronald (Sabrina Rehm) Christy of Ft. Madison; four daughters, Lori Hanley of Nashville, TN, Lynn Schwab of Alexandria, MO, Tammy Richardson of Wever and Cathy Simmons of Ft. Madison; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and one great grandson on the way; three sisters, Patricia Smutzer and Julie (Larry) Hemmie both of Ft. Madison and Marie (Grady) Evans of Worthington, OH; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11 AM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Ken Barlow officiating. The family will meet with friends from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be held in Oakland Cemetery.
