Phyllis Gwendolyn Hupp, age 85, passed away peacefully at Bennington Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born in Delaware County on January 4, 1935, to R. Vearl Jaynes and Emma E. (Bailey) Jaynes, both of whom preceded her in death.

Left to remember her are her son, Mark (Wilma) Frost of Sunbury; her granddaughters, Katelyn (Benjamin) Frost-Schiller of Waldo, Samantha Frost of Kilbourne, Markah Frost of Sunbury; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Evelyn, Evrett, and Elenor. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her daughters, Linda Frost and Christy Frost.

Phyllis loved to sing in her church choir and did so for many years. In her youth, she was a champion at roller skating. Phyllis was also an avid bowler and competed on bowling leagues. She was a very skilled gardener at home and also enjoyed crocheting and fishing on Lake Erie. Phyllis collected lighthouses, including books, pictures and figurines. She was very fond of her cats, Baby and Bones – pets of hers that her granddaughters will always remember.
