Mrs. Mildred Fredericks, aged 38 years, wife of Edward Fredericks, of the town of Palatine, died at her home on Wednesday night at 10:25 o’clock after a lingering illness of a complication of diseases.
She was born in the Town of Palatine, January 22, 1893, the daughter of Martin and Mary Snell Shults.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Gerald P., Earl E., Edward Jr., and LaVerne; two daughters, Naomi and Edna Fredericks, who reside at home; seven brothers, Harry of Stone Arabia, Earl of Palatine Bridge, Manley, Arthur, Ezra and Martin, all of Fort Plain; five sisters, Miss Lelah Shults, Mrs. Reuben Emple, Mrs. Mary Nellis, Mrs. Charles Bauder, all of Fort Plain, and Mrs. Byron Christman of Fonda; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held at her home Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Reverend Stanley S. Haverly, Pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Stone Arabia, officiating.
The remains will be placed in the vault of the Catherine Nellis Memorial Chapel and Interment will be in the Fort Plain Cemetery in the spring.
