She was born Sept. 8, 1927 to Merle and Vada (Thomas) Greene.
On Dec. 28, 1946, she married Francis (Mutt) Forcey who passed away in February, 2008.
Surviving is one daughter, Janet (Bruce) Allison of Harmony; her four grandchildren, Heather (Jeremy) Sharek of Harmony, Kiley (Frank) Librich of Harmony, Matthew Forcey of Riverside, CA, and Christopher Forcey of Washington, PA. She has nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Joline Bailey, Erma Homan and Merle Greene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Edward, and two sisters, Jane Heberling and Joanne Hubler.
Mrs. Forcey worked in the cafeteria for Clearfield School District for over 25 years. She was a member of Dale's UMC for over 40 years, teaching Sunday school, Bible school and leading youth fellowship. One of her favorite Bible verses was II Timothy 2:15. At the age 13 she accepted Jesus as her personal savior.
A memorial service will be held at Dale UMC on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1 p.m.
