Bessie C. Rossiter

Bessie C. Rossiter 79, of 1144 Wyley Av., died April 27, after a brief illness.

Born in Quaker City, O., she had lived 57 years in Akron. Her husband, Hugh, operated a grocery store from 1921 to 1936. She worked at the Goodyear Aerospace and at O'Neils. She was a member of the South Arlington St. Methodist Chruch, the Senior Citizens Krumroy Chapter, D. of A., Arlington Council, Eastern Star Elva Chapter, Dames of Marta, Perry Sisterhood, and the Rebecca Lodge.

She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Neva Brenneman of Uniontown, O., Mrs. Evelyn Oberlin of Manchester, O.; sons, Harry and Blaine of Uniontown, O.; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Schmicker of Akron.

Funeral services will be held at the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Friday 10:30 a.m. Rev. George F. Shiltz officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (Eckard-Baldwin, 760 E. Market)
