Ralph E. “Tubby” Beck, 88, passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at Parkview Dekalb Hospital in Auburn, IN. He was born December 8, 1932 in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Samuel L. and Emma E Beck.

Ralph was a proud veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. He and his wife owned and operated D&R Disposal based in Leo-Grabill and Huntertown, IN. They also owned and operated Blue Ridge Trucking. Ralph was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Ralph was a die hard Chicago Cubs fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Doloris R. Beck of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Michael E. (Karen) Beck of Grabill, IN; Marty E (Judy) Beck, Leo, IN; daughters, Cynthia J. (Chris) Hernandez of Fort Wayne, IN; Connie Jo (Steve) Houser of Fort Wayne, IN; brother Everett A Beck of Fort Wayne, IN; and many grandchildren and great grand children.

Ralph was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth L. Beck, Glenn H. Beck, Lester “Dean” Beck, and Nancy E. Topp.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Monday December 21, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church 2313 S. Hanna Street Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior, with Pastor Donald Punke officiating. Calling also will be Sunday December 20, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave Wayne, IN. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery Fort Wayne.
