Funeral services for Charles Linden Dickey, age 71, of the Crystal Springs community, who died Saturday, March 19 in the Lincoln County Hospital after a short illness, were held Saturday, March 23 in the Chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. R. E. Burroughs officiating. Burial was in the Kelso Cemetery.
Mr. Dickey was a native of Lincoln County, a member of the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and the son of the late John and Julia Ann Shelton Dickey.
For many years, Mr. Dickey had been caretaker at the Crystal Springs Presbyterian Camp. He was an elder in the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura Dickey; one son, Charles Dickey, Montgomery, Alabama; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Mansfield, Lincoln County; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
