Mrs. Mary Burleson Dies at 78
Lockhart, Texas, August 23. Funeral of Mrs. Mary Burleson, age 78, was held here, with burial in the Burleson Cemetery at Kyle, the Rev. Ed Horne of the Christian Church officiating. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mary Burleson Blake of San Antonio, Miss Eliza Burleson of Detroit and Miss Emma Burleson of Lockhart. Also, two sons, James G. Burleson of Detroit and Ed Burleson of Lockhart.
She had been a resident of Lockhart for nearly 50 years and was the widow of James G. Burleson, prominent banker of Lockhart for many years and was brother of Albert Sidney Burleson.
