Mr. Anderson, a farmer until his retirement 12 years ago Mr Anderson had been ill with a heart ailment three months and died of a heart attack.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery Joelton.
The Rev J J Abernathy pastor of Mt Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church will officiate.
A lifelong resident of Davidson County Mr Anderson was the son of Leander and Mary Anderson He was married 65 years ago to the former Mary Ingram a native of Scottsboro Davidson County.
She died In 1954 Survivors include two sons Noah C Anderson and Robert Anderson both of Nashville two daughters Mrs Joe Biggs Joelton and Miss Nellie Anderson Nashville 24 grandchildren 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren
