Of Bedford and Onset died Friday, August 31, 2007, age 75, from complications of Parkinson's Disease. Beloved husband of Jane (Emerson) Porter for 49 years. Loving father of daughter, Bonnie J. Porter-Couto and her husband, Richard of Chelmsford and son, Jeffrey E. Porter of Merrimack, New Hampshire. Brother of Richard Porter of Onset, Bruce Porter of Wareham and Dawn Mann of Keesville, New York. Loving grandfather of Tiffany and Joshua Porter of Dracut and David and Rachel Couto of Chelmsford. Family and friends are invited to a committal service at Shawsheen Cemetery, The Great Rd., Bedford, on Tuesday, September 4, at 11 A.M. and to a memorial service at 2 P.M. on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Community Church of Christ, 1386 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington.
