Daughter of Joseph Sauney Amerson and Betty (Hogans) Amerson. Wife of Joshua Samuels Arnold, whom she married on April 19th, 1902 in Jasper, Hamilton County, Florida. Known Children: Fred Arnold (B. circa 1903), Mildred (Arnold) Brown (B. circa 1904), George Perry Arnold (B. circa 1906), Edwin Arnold (B. circa 1909) , Infant Female who died on January 19, 1921 in Hamilton County, FL (10 days old). Not long after the death of her daughter in 1921, Alice began having mental problems. Joshua (AKA "JS") moved to 606 West Pine Street in Orlando, Orange County, Florida, near their son, Fred Arnold. Sadly, Alice had to be placed in the Orlando State Hospital. On September 5, 1929, Alice Edna Amerson Arnold committed suicide at the Orlando State Hospital by taking bichloride tablets. The source document of her death is found in the Carey Hand Funeral Home Records now held at the Central Florida Memory Project at Central Florida University in Orlando.
