Services for Howard K. Bell, 78, formerly of 116 E. Torrence Rd.,who died Tuesday in St. Petersburg, Fla. will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Schoedinger's Chapel. Interment will be in Alton Cemetery.The body will be received here Friday.
Graduated from Ohio State University, Mr. Bell was associated with the railway mail service for 35 years, retiring in 1935. He was a member of North Broadway Methodist Church and for the last 5 years had spent his winters in Florida.
Surviving him is a daughter, Lt. Elizabeth B. Winter, stationed at Norfolk, Va. with the WAVES.Lt. Winter is the wife of State Senator Ralph Winter of LeRoy.(Published in the Columbus Dispatch)
