Carolyn Sue Hinshaw Adams, 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana peacefully passed away on December 14, 2020. Carolyn was born on October 31, 1946 in Lebanon, Indiana to Fred and Mabel (Sallee) Hinshaw. She was a registered nurse and research secretary for Indiana University Medical Center. She was also a Red Cross Disaster Nurse and a member of Chapelwood Baptist Church. Carolyn loved spending time with her Building One family at Neighbor Care, where she enjoyed socializing and helping others.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Douglas Adams. She is survived by her daughter, Lee Allison Adams; her brother, Steven Hinshaw; her sister, Kathy (Rick) Land; and her two beloved grandchildren, Brendan and Justin LaFontain.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Private farewell services were in the care of Eric M.D. Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Pittsboro, Indiana. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
