FRANKTON - Miles Gooding 85, Rt.4 Alexandria died early this morning at Mercy Hospital. A native of Madison Co. he had lived in the Frankton community all of his life. He was a retired farmer and member of the Christian Church and Masonic Lodge in Frankton.
Surviving are his wife Mable Wewe Gooding, two sons, Raymond of Monticello and Arthur of Rt. 2 Alexanderia, a sister Mrs. Beatrice Smith of Bippes, In; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral rites are planned at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in teh George C. Harper and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Covill officiating.
Burial will be in the K of P IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
