Curvin was born in York on January 21, 1933, a son of the late Hester (Miller) Knaub and Curvin W. Knaub, Sr. He retired as a Chemical Operator with the former Union Oil Company. He was a member of Upper Room Missionary Church. Curvin loved to fish and spend time puttering in the yard.
In addition to his wife, Dutch is survived by three sons, Bradley E. Knaub of York, Jeffrey A. Knaub, Gregory S. Knaub both of Hellam; a daughter, Lisa M. Knaub and partner Stacy Paxson of York; and a brother, Robert Knaub and wife Helen of Hellam.
A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 1, at the Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York. Officiating will be Rev. Tyler Miller and Rev. Robert Brown. Burial will be in Canadochly Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 540 S.
