Jerry L. Ashley, 64, of Orleans, passed away at 3:59 PM on December 11, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born December 8, 1956 in Salem, IN, the son of Ezra Carroll and Rose Ellen (Brewer) Ashley.
He married Maxine Ashley and she preceded him in death on December 4, 2016.
He graduated from Orleans High School, class of 1975. He was a member of the Mitchell Wesleyan Church. He worked for over 25 years at U.S. Gypsum.
He is survived by one son, Jeremy (Holly) Ashley of Paoli; one step son, William (Jennifer) Jones of Mitchell; one step daughter, Tiffany Ann Jones of Bedford; one sister, Linda Combs of Bedford; six grandchildren, Wyatt, Payton, Charlee, Maverick, Kirkland and Tripp.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
A graveside service will be at 1: 00 PM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Fairview Cemetery in Orleans with Pastor Steve Jones officiating.
