DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. G. P. Bankus died at her home Monday morning,May 7th, after a lingering illness.Funeral services were held at the church at Sorrell on Tuesday,and interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, east of Green City.Mrs. Rosser Bankus is very poorly at this writing.Mrs. Oliver Hardinger of Kansas City and Mrs. B. H. Loughead of near Lemons,came to be at the bedside of their aunt,Mrs. G. P. Bankus.Mrs. Loughead arrived Friday,and Mrs Hardinger on Monday. [Green City Press,Green City,MO,Thursday,10 May 1928,p. 3]
