Wendell was born in West Virginia to Frank and Mary Snyder. Wendell retired from General Motors Boxwood Plant in 1985 and he worked part-time at CPG Towing for over 40 yrs. Wendell was loved by many and was always there to give a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ava Snyder in 2002. He is survived by his brothers, Billy Snyder and his wife, Rowena, John Snyder and his wife, Donna; daughter, Janet Snyder; son, Frank W. Snyder Jr. and his wife, Rose; grandsons, Frank W. Snyder III and Billy L. Snyder; along with great granddaughters, Ava Snyder and Kalani Snyder.
Wendell will be laid to rest at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd. Bear, DE on Monday, November 30, 2020. Services will be private.
