She and George Earl Nelson were married on the 10th of November 1945 in the First Baptist Church parsonage by Rev. Glenwood Busby. She worked as a retail clerk for most of the merchants on Main Street of Lindsay at one time or another, since she only worked "out" during the school year. Summers were for her family and farm life. Beatrice and Earl were long time members of Lindsay First Baptist. She taught a pre-school and kindergarten age Sunday School Class for many years. She is survived by one son and his wife with two granddaughters. Also one daughter and son-in-law with two more granddaughters and a grandson.
