Charles Frank Crump, 87, of New London passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home in Huntersville, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Dunn’s Grove Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Tony Parsons.

He was born in Stanly County to the late Walter and Irene Beam Crump.

Charles was a graduate of Badin High School and Pfeiffer College. Mr. Crump was a member at First Baptist Church of Gold Hill. He worked at All Star Mills and sold Insurance. Charles had a love for going to the beach and serving God.

Mr. Crump is survived by his daughter Leslie Sharpe and husband Wesley of Greensboro; grandsons Andrew Powell and Ryan Powell, both of Boone.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife Mary Smith Crump; and sisters: Nita Bruning and Faye Almond.
