Memorial services for Al Jennings (Abner Garrett Jennings III) affectionately known as "Pa" or "Papa Al" went to be with the Lord August 11, 2020.

He was born in Savannah Ga. to Norma Richardson Jennings and Abner Garrett Jennings Jr. on Dec. 23, 1950. He spent his early years after graduating from Willingham High School in Macon as part of the Capricorn music Southern Rock scene around the Macon area. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Al spent most of his life in the middle Georgia area as an electrical contractor and business owner ( Granny's Gifts and Games and The Junction). He made his way to Cochran, Georgia after finding the love of his life Debra Hogan. He enjoyed the outdoors and found a great fishing buddy in Susan Long. He enjoyed the small town feel as well as the small town politics that it offered and could often be found at one of the local restaurants reading the paper.
