*FALLEN GRAVER*

Marilyn Louise Glasson passed away from heart failure peacefully while napping the afternoon of November 12, 2018.

She was born on August 27, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan, one of five children to Albert and Catherine Bauman. Following graduation from Denby High School, Marilyn resided in Detroit and began work at General Motors Automotive Company in the Motors Holding Division for thirty-five years and was a respected mentor to many over her career. Marilyn was blessed with her three children, Dennis, Michael and Amiee and they were the loves of her life. In 1985, Marilyn met Mark Glasson after one of Mark's softball tournaments and their love quickly blossomed. The couple married on November 14, 1987 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Warren and made their first home as a family in Detroit, later moved to West Bloomfield, then settled in Milford sixteen years ago.

Marilyn's greatest hobby and treasure was her family — she adored spending time with her husband and children, going on adventures with her grandchildren, hosting holiday dinners, cooking and the annual Super Bowl party. She was an ardent Tigers fan. Marilyn always played the family photographer and was keen to research the genealogical histories of the past. Marilyn left memorable impressions with the people in her life and was the glue that held her family together. She will be missed for her kind and loving nature and strong and supportive personality.

She is survived by her husband, Mark, with whom she would have celebrated thirty one years of marriage on November 14th; her sons, Dennis (Julie) and Michael (Amy); her daughter, Amiee (Michael) Freeman; grandchildren, Ella and Avery; Liam, Emily and Sophia; Hayden, Kaylyn and Kylee; sisters, Kathleen (the late Bill) Nowicke and Laurie (the late Eric) Shugerman, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Catherine Bauman and brothers, Albert and David Bauman.

Services will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St, Milford on Saturday, November 17, 2018 with a family viewing 1-2 PM, a public gathering from 2-4 PM, Memorial Service 4-5 PM, with Pastor Scott Phillips officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Society or the the American Cancer Society, in memory of her mother.
