He was born April 12, 1948 in Taos, New Mexico, the son of the late Charles J. and Violet I. (Pautot) Hohing.
Charles was a graduate of Kent State University. Charles had been counselor for MRDD for the State of Ohio for over 30 years before retiring.
He enjoyed classic cars reading and was an avid sports fan. Charles was always known as a kind and compassionate person.
Survivors include his sister, Patricia (Frank) Scoccia of Bonita Springs, FL.; his half-brothers, Anthony (Nancy) Clark of Lancaster, PA., Robert Clark of Middletown, VA., and Von Hohing of Placerville, CA.; a step brother, Wayne Kasom of Oakland, CA.; cousin, Michelle Piper of Akron, OH., and nephews, William Fornia of Bonita Springs, FL. and Travis Clark of Lancaster, PA.
