Sandra Bumgarner Boone, 77, of Stanley, died on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Atrium Health Lincolnton.

She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Patrick McCoy Bumgarner and Dorothy Estelle Warlick Bumgarner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Boone; a son, Jospeh McCoy Armstrong; and a grandson Casey Clifton Armstrong. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Lora Lesa Rose (Teddy), Dana Lynette Armstrong, Clifton Armstrong, and Brandon Curtis Armstrong; two sisters Patricia Pruitt and Kathy Underwood; a brother Curtis McCoy Bumgarner; three grandchildren Amber Rose, Joseph Armstrong, and Dylan Armstrong; and a great granddaughter Savannah Dorame.

The family will greet guests from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.

A service to celebrate her life, officiated by Rev. Jason Ballard, will be held immediately following at 2:00, also at the funeral home.
