Brenda Lee Sharpe passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee in the company of her loving family at the age of 71.

Brenda was born February 6, 1949 in Forrest City, Arkansas to parents C.L. and Francis A. Casey. She would later cheerlead at a local ballfield as a teenager and before the evening was over little did she know at the time but she would marry and spend the next 54 years with a young man named Lonny Sharpe whom she met during the game and went on a blind date after the game. Brenda, known by her family and most others as Honey, spent her adult years loving and caring for their own family and was very active in their children's youth sports, especially softball. Brenda was a long time organizer of the Marion Girls ASA Softball League along with the local Jaycees with her 25 year devotion to the Miss Marion Beauty Pageant. Most of all though, Brenda was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Honey is survived by her loving husband Lonny of Memphis, Tennessee, her son, Christopher C. Sharpe of Memphis, Tennessee, her two daughters, Amy Holt (Bert) of Marion, Arkansas and Lisa Sharpe of Memphis, Tennessee. She also leaves her three sisters, Nanci Mathis (Gene) of West Memphis, Arkansas, Martha Kirksey of Little Rock, Arkansas and Suzi Gregory (Louis) of Houston, Texas. She will be deeply missed by four grandchildren, Preslee Sharpe, Mason Rose, Myles Holt and Urban Holt who will all cherish their own memories of her. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Cecil Casey and her sister Diane Sharp.
