Baptised 16 Sep 1832 at St Mary's Church, Scarborough she was the daughter of Thomas Maw and his first wife Hannah Thompson. She married John Trott in Scarborough in 1855. Mary Ann is buried with her cousin Jane Ann Vasey nee Maw. Both their husbands died in Chittagong at different times.
