TROUP - Graveside services for Lillian Ruth McWhorter, 92, of Tyler, formerly of Fort Worth, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at Elkins Cemetery of Omen, with John Ashby officiating. Arrangements are by Cottle Funeral Home of Troup. Ms. McWhorter died September 30, 2007, at her residence.
Born June 7, 1915, in Sorona, N.M., she was a beautician for Neiman Marcus, retired nurse and member of Southern Oaks Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Opal Bass.
