Ollie Abbott, 73, Died At Local Hospital Wednesday; Funeral Rites Today --
Ollie Abbott, 73, died at the Lincoln County Hospital Wednesday night, September 24, after a brief illness.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Abbott and was born and reared in the Cyruston community. His wife died in 1949 and he had since that time made his home with relatives. He was a member of the Cyruston Church of Christ.
The funeral services were held at 11 o'clock this morning in the new chapel at the Lebanon Cemetery,, conducted by I. C. Pullias, assisted by the Rev. Lossie Hall. Burial was in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. T. McCrady of Huntsville and Mrs. Thomas Winsett of Fayetteville; one brother, E. B. Abbott of Huntsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
