Seymour was spoiled by his three older sisters. He grew up in Idaho Falls, graduated from Skyline High School, where he played softball as first base and pitcher. While earning his mechanics degree at EITC, he worked at Idaho Travertine. He and sweetheart and best friend Lynda Ondricek were married on June 19, 1987, and blessed with two sons. He eventually purchased Mickelsen Marble, where he loved the work and was so proud of what he did for his customers. Lynda and their sons worked with him, and he looked forward to retiring and leaving the business to his sons. He loved fishing with family, especially his grandkids, along with hunting and camping. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors beside Lynda included: sons Jay and Jesse (Breann); grandchildren Payton and Emmett; sisters Jolene (Kurt) Holverson, Karen Thornock Allen and DeAnn Thornock (Jeff) of Elliston, MT; brother Eric Thornock; in-laws Dennis (Martha) Ondricek and Gerald (Leann) Ondricek; Karen (David) Sterling; James (Wendy) Ondricek; and Crystal Ullmann. Preceded by Lynda’s parents, Gerald and Afton Ondricek. Funeral held Friday, December 11th at Wood Chapel of the pines. Memorial donations to East Idaho Down Syndrome Connect Family at 985 Capital Ave. in Idaho Falls.
