Perry J. Bergsland, 79. Sturgeon Bay, died Wednesday at Door County Memorial Hospital. He was born March 29, 1896 in Hainesville to George and Pernilla Bergsland and was married June 4, 1930 in Chicago to Ethel Osmundson. He lived and farmed most of his life in the Town of Sturgeon Bay.
Survivors include his wife; one brother, Norman, Sturgeon Bay; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Solheim, Racine; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at Soulek Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay, from 3 to 9 tonight, then at Bay View Lutheran Church after 12:30 p.m. Saturday until time of services. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Richard DeBenedetto officiating. Burial in the Bayside Cemetery.
