Joyce Gray Phillips, 89, of Pleasant Grove passed away peacefully Sunday, November 29, 2020. Joyce was born February 19, 1931 in Lehi, Utah to Hyrum and Charlotte Gray. She married Jack Phillips on October 7, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jack passed away August 26, 2019.

Joyce was born and raised in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School in 1949. She was a Para-Educator for many years in the Alpine School District. She and Jack loved to travel with family and friends and were members of the Good Sam’s Club. Joyce was the consummate homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting and being a grandma. She loved her time working in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos Temples and served faithfully in many callings during her life.

She is survived by her three children: Stephen (Vonda) Phillips, Kaye (Kelly) Anderson and Neil Phillips; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack and seven siblings.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. All are encouraged to follow Covid19 guidelines for social distancing and masks. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
